LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - Police arrested a suspect in a pair of Omaha robberies Monday.

Sherman Wade, 43, of Lincoln, was arrested by Omaha Police and booked into Lancaster County Corrections on two counts of robbery and one count of violating federal probation.

Wade’s charges stem from two separate reported robberies: The first at an Advanced Auto Parts store near 46th and Cuming in February, and the second at the U.S. Bank location near 90th Street and Maple Road last week.

Authorities said Wade was on probation when both robberies took place.

OPD said its still looking for a second person suspected to be involved in the U.S. Bank robbery. Anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to submit an anonymous tip via Omaha Crime Stoppers. To do so, click here or call 402-444-7867.
