Omaha Police investigating Friday night cutting

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha Police are looking for tips in a Friday night cutting that left a man hurt.

OPD tells 6 News officers were called to the area of 47th and Lafayette Avenues around 11:25 p.m. They met with a 32-year-old male victim who said he was in the area when he was approached by a Black male, known to him only as “Kevin,” who the victim said cut him on his neck and hand.

The victim then ran to the Anytime Laundry near Saddle Creek Road and Cuming Street and called police.

The suspect was not located; the victim was not transported to a hospital.
