Craig Allison
Morning Anchor/Reporter
Lincoln, Nebraska

Craig Allison is a morning anchor for 10/11 who began his career in broadcast journalism working as a reporter, anchor, and managing editor with James Madison University's award-winning "Breeze TV." The Virginia native also worked as a news reporter with WSVA news talk radio, and as a weekend anchor and city government reporter with WRDW/WAGT in Augusta, Georgia.
During his time at JMU (go Dukes!) Craig found "Breeze TV" during the end of his sophomore year in early 2019. Craig started out as a videographer and reporter, mainly covering arts stories in the local Harrisonburg community. He would later cover a gas explosion in Harrisonburg in the fall of 2020, travel to Washington D.C. to cover Joe Biden's presidential inauguration, and eventually be promoted to anchor and managing editor. In his final year at JMU, he would also work as a reporter with news talk 92.1 FM/550 AM at WSVA. While in radio, he would interview figures like former Virginia governor, Ralph Northam, as well as current Virginia governor, Glen Youngkin, while on the 2021 gubernatorial campaign trail.
Fresh out of college, Craig traveled down south to Augusta, Georgia in January of 2022 where he would begin his broadcast career as a multimedia journalist with News 12/26 WRDW/WAGT. He would eventually work his way up to covering the city government beat for Augusta-Richmond County, and anchor the weekend evening newscasts. During his time down in Augusta, he would win a GABBY Merit Award for "Best Newscast" for his live reporting in 2022 during a hostage standoff, and is nominated for a Southeast EMMY award for "Daytime/Evening Newscast" for his live reporting in 2023 during a school shooting.
With deep Omaha roots on his mom's side, the east coast, "NoVa" kid is excited to learn more about Lincoln, and Nebraska altogether.
