Omaha motorcycle club president arrested for violating sex offender registry
Police investigating homicide outside of Los-Diablos Motorcycle Club
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office say they arrested the president of the Los-Diablos Motorcycle Club on Wednesday.
Danny Robinson, 64, was arrested for violating the Nebraska Sex Offender Registry, a report says.
The arrest comes shortly after a homicide on Sunday outside of Los-Diablos Motorcycle Club that left 37-year-old Alexander Whitcomb dead. The shooting is spurring calls to shut down the bar.
An investigation showed that Robinson was using the motorcycle club’s address as his permanent address instead of his Omaha residence, a violation with the sex offender registry.
He was booked into Douglas County Corrections on one count of violating the registry, a Class 3 felony.
Officials say Robinson was placed on the sex offender registry in 1994 after being convicted of 1st degree sexual assault of a minor in Douglas County.
