Abigail Kurten is a dayside reporter at KCRG-TV9. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2023 with a major in Journalism and Mass Communications and a double minor in Theatre and English. While in college, she worked as a reporter and anchor for The University of Iowa’s student-run newscast, DITV. She also worked as an Art and Drama Editor for several literary magazines on campus.
Abigail is from St. Louis, Missouri and is incredibly excited to start her professional journalism career at KCRG. When Abigail isn’t reporting, she enjoys video gaming, makeup, writing, drawing, and caring for her fish and plants.
