Sam Cobb joined the 10/11 News team in June of 2024 as a Multimedia Journalist after a year of working as one of the station's sports interns.

While growing up in Gretna, Nebraska, his curiosity developed into a passion for storytelling that led Sam to study journalism at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He graduated in May 2024 with a bachelor in journalism and minor in English. While studying in Lincoln, he was a writer for The Seward Independent, covering the small-town stories that make rural Nebraska so special.

As a 10/11 intern, Sam covered sporting events from March Madness in Memphis to Nebraska high school track meets. He has enjoyed getting to know the people in the communities he covers, and is excited for the opportunity to tell even more stories about them.
