Kathryn Vlaanderen
Digital Content Producer
Kathryn Vlaanderen joined KTIV in January 2024 as a Digital Content Producer.
Kathryn graduated from Wayne State College with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Spanish in December of 2023.
Kathryn’s passion for news and journalism grew out of writing for the college newspaper: “The Wayne Stater.” At the college newspaper, Kathryn wrote for news, entertainment and opinion and became the head editor of the news and entertainment sections of the paper.
After graduating from WSC, Kathryn was excited to move back to Siouxland and start her journey with KTIV!
During her off time, Kathryn enjoys reading, writing, and catching up with her friends and family, especially her dog, Kenzie.
Kathryn also enjoys creating art, photography and listening to all kinds of music, particularly Classic Rock and Broadway musicals.
Kathryn is excited to share her passion for media with her hometown and all future endeavors!
