Police identify man killed in Downtown Omaha crash
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha Police have identified the man killed in a crash in Downtown Omaha last Friday.
Police identified the victim of the crash as Michael Sales, 70, of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Sales was the driver of a Subaru that was rear-ended by a Jeep at about 1:20 a.m. last Friday.

Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
Sales’ car hit a light pole and burst into flames as result of the impact. Sales was declared dead at the scene of the crash, along with two children in the Jeep.
Three occupants of the Jeep were injured: The 33-year-old driver, the 38-year-old man in the passenger seat, and a child in the vehicle were taken to Nebraska Medicine for treatment.
