CWS 2024: French toast maple-bacon burgers among this year’s ‘colossal’ stadium food
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - If you’re planning to head downtown to the College World Series in the days and weeks ahead, you’ll have plenty to choose from on the menu — especially if you’re feeling a little adventurous.
This year’s menu at Charles Schwab Field has some new orders, including a spin on burgers; one includes French toast, another has pineapple chutney — and of course both have bacon. You’ll still find stadium staples, like hot dogs and fries; but it’s all about what’s on top.
Order up an all-beef hot dog with bacon, lettuce, red onion, guac, and roasted poblano crema; or go for the footlong frank and bean dog. If you’re feeling bolder than just ketchup, take a “moon-shot” on crinkle fries with bacon jam, sliced sausage, jalepenos, and cheese.
There’s an ancho chicken quesadilla, plus a collosal pretzel with different types of meats — and of course, it’s covered in cheese.

The 2024 College World Series is here and thousands of fans have begun to descend upon Omaha for “The Greatest Show on Dirt.”
You’ll also find Mediterranean fare, like a grilled chicken shawarma gyro and a loaded bratwurst. And there’s also a turkey on a toasted bagel if you’re looking to go a little lighter; and some hearty salads if you’re not a meat lover.
As with most big events, officials do advise patience as they expect long lines getting in and around the ballpark.
