LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - After three straight games in prime time, Husker fans will be back in the daylight next time they return to Memorial Stadium.

Nebraska’s next home game — Oct. 5 vs. Rutgers — will kick off at 3 p.m., Big Ten Conference officials announced on Monday. FS1 will carry the broadcast and it’ll stream online at FOX Sports and on the FOX Sports App.

The Huskers have enjoyed the comforts of home for the first four weeks of the season, going 3-1 in that span with a heartbreaking overtime loss to Illinois in the Big Ten opener this past Friday night.

Nebraska hits the road for the first time in its 2024 campaign this week for a date with Purdue in West Lafayette on Saturday at 11 a.m. Rutgers, meanwhile, is off to a 3-0 start and hosts Washington in its first conference game Friday night before coming to Lincoln next week.

Big Red nation received some exciting recruiting news Monday, as the Huskers locked in a commitment from Dayton Raiola, the younger brother of standout freshman QB Dylan Raiola.
