Rhule announces Mac Markway out for remainder of season

LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule has some tough news for Huskers fans.
He spoke to the media Thursday morning ahead of the Northern Iowa game, saying that Nebraska’s tight end Mac Markway is out for the season.
Rhule said that Markway tore his ACL last week.
Collier reports that Markway transferred from LSU last month.
Nebraska has a chance to go 3-0 with a win over Northern Iowa this Saturday in their first ever meeting.
Kick-off is set for 6:30 p.m
