Nebraska, Creighton volleyball ranked in AVCA Preseason Poll

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Nebraska and Creighton volleyball were ranked in the AVCA Preseason Top 25 Poll, released Monday.
The Huskers were slotted No. 2 in the nation, receiving 15 first-place votes. The reigning national champion Texas Longhorns were No. 1 with 46 first place votes.
The Bluejays begin the season as the No. 12 team in the country, the second-highest preseason ranking in program history (No. 9 in 2017). The announcement marks the 10th time in the last 12 seasons that Creighton earned a spot in the preseason poll.
