OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Creighton men’s basketball assistant coach Ryan Miller interviewed for the Fresno State head coaching position Monday morning, a source told 6 News.

Miller has been an integral part of Creighton’s recruiting efforts since joining Greg McDermott’s staff in 2021. The 48-year-old has two decades of experience as an assistant, including previous stops at TCU, UNLV, Auburn, New Mexico, Pepperdine and Memphis.

Miller, the uncle of Bluejays forward Mason Miller, has been rumored to be a candidate for the Fresno State job since Justin Hutson stepped down as Bulldogs head coach on March 14 following a 12-21 season.
