Record number of viewers tuned in to watch Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever beat Chicago Sky

(KCRG) - A record number of people tuned in to watch Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever defeat the Chicago Sky 91-83 on Sunday.
CBS Sports said the game had an average viewership of 2.252 million - that’s up 225 percent from a comparable game window from last year. The game peaked at nearly 3 million viewers.
CBS Sports also said the game is the most-streamed WNBA game ever on Paramount+.
The game also carried forward the college rivalry between Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark, and included a flagrant foul in which Reese knocked Clark to the ground by hitting her in the head with an elbow as Clark drove toward the basket.
Clark finished with 23 points, nine assist and eight rebounds in her best game so far as a pro. She made seven of her 11 shots, three of which were 3-pointers.
