Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - Another run at some records this week
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - It’s another chilly morning in the 40s for most of us but today we’ll start to turn up the heat again for the afternoon. Highs will make a run at 80 degrees with just a little bit of a south breeze today.
The temperature continues to go up the rest of the week with highs trying to reach records for several days in a row. The peak of the heat will likely be Friday but it likely won’t be a sharp cool down over the weekend after it.
Over the weekend we’ll see a much cooler day by Sunday with a bit of a northwest breeze making it feel cooler yet. That could be the start of a cooler week next week with potential for our first widespread frost or freeze of the season lurking in the Monday or Tuesday time frame next week.
