Emily’s 6 First Alert Forecast - Warming back up after a brief taste of Fall
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - We’ve enjoyed a brief taste fall weather with Tuesday’s cool down and we are getting ready to warm back up!
Wednesday will be off to another chilly start in the 40s... then a breezy S wind carries us into the 80s for the afternoon. A high of 84 for Omaha brings us about 10 degrees above average with gusts up to 25-30mph.
The month overall is expected to be warm and dry compared to the average. There will be some fluctuations but the outlook does not look favorable for fall temps or rain.
Saturday brings a peak to our warm trend with a forecast high of 94 for Omaha! We have made this a 6 First Alert Weather Day due to the heat... we’ll be close to the record daily high of 95, and the all time record high for October, 96.
We’ll be a couple of degrees warmer in Lincoln, 96 for the start of the Husker game!
A cool down arrives Sunday with a nice dip to the 70s... a quick return to the 80s by Tuesday.
