Man thrown from car and killed while using drag strip

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WBAY/Gray News) - A man in Wisconsin was thrown from his car in a crash on a drag strip.
Just after 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, authorities responded to Wisconsin International Raceway for a report of a crash with injuries.
When first responders arrived, they found that a car was using the drag strip when it struck a concrete bridge rail and ejected the driver, sending him into a ditch.
The driver was a 65-year-old man and was pronounced dead at the scene.
