ELECTION 2024: Nebraska to hold public hearings on November Election ballot measures

LINOLCN, Neb. (WOWT) - In a statement Friday, the Nebraska Secretary of State’s Elections Division says they will be holding hearings for the six initiatives that will appear on Nebraska’s November ballot.
The initiatives are in the upcoming ballot pertain to school choice, paid sick leave, medical marijuana, and abortion.
District 1 Hearings
- Held in Room 1525 of the Nebraska State Capitol in Lincoln
- Monday, Oct. 14
- 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. - Paid Sick Leave Initiative
- 6 - 9 p.m. - Medical Cannabis Patient Protection and Regulation initiatives
- Tuesday, Oct. 15
- 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. - Protect Women and Children Constitutional Amendment
- 6 - 9 p.m. - Protect the Right to Abortion Constitutional Amendment
- Wednesday, Oct. 16
- 6 - 9 p.m. - Private Education Scholarship Partial Referendum
- Monday, Oct. 14
District 2 Hearings
- Held at the Thompson Alumni Center at UNO
- Friday, Oct. 25
- 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. - Paid Sick Leave Initiative
