Two injured in early morning South Omaha shooting
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Police are investigating a shooting that injured two people Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the scene near 42nd and Madison at around 5:05 a.m.
Those officers found a shooting victim at the scene, and Omaha Fire Department medics took them to Nebraska Medicine with a non life-threatening injury.
Not long after officers arrived at Nebraska Medicine for a walk-in shooting victim. Police believe the walk-in was from the same incident.
Investigators determined that there was a large gathering at the initial scene of the shooting, with a disturbance followed by shots being fired.
