OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - League One Volleyball announced they will be breaking ground on a new volleyball facility in Gretna Landing.

The facility, a 66,000 square foot “state-of-the-art” training destination, will have Taraflex flooring, 32-feet height averages, and the capability of training both youth athletes and LOVB pros in tandem.

“Omaha is the center of women’s volleyball and our new five star facility in Gretna Landing embodies our commitment to providing players youth to pro with an unprecedented edge,” said Mike Bufano, President, LOVB Clubs. “As an organization, we are committed to championing athletes through their entire volleyball journey, so we are excited to invest in Omaha athletes of every age through the programs, coaching and mentorship that our new facility will offer.”

The facility will also further LOVB’s NIL relationships with Nebraska Volleyball athletes Lindsay Krause, Norah Sis, Lexi Rodriguez, and Harper Murray. This will facilitate youth camps, clinics, and in-person appearances.

In addition to the volleyball courts, the facility will feature a pro locker room, a café, a pro shop with merchandise, and a training room with top amenities.
