LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska Volleyball assistant coach Jordan Larson is recovering from a car accident that occurred while she was in Paris for the Olympics.

Larson shared on her Instagram story Tuesday that she and her Team USA Volleyball teammate Micha Hancock were in an Uber when their driver crashed into a pole. The accident happened as they were returning to their hotel after celebrating their silver medal with the team.

The crash left Larson with a scrape and bruise near her right eye, while Hancock posted on Instagram revealing a significant black eye.

“All in all, feeling pretty good,” Larson said, expressing her gratitude to Husker Nation for their support. Larson is expected to return to campus this week.
