Two injured in accidental North Omaha shooting

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Two people were taken to the hospital after a shooting in North Omaha on Tuesday night.
In an update, police said that two male victims, aged 19 and 21, were injured by “accidental discharge of a firearm.”
Officers located the victims suffering from gunshot wounds near North 30th and Fort Street just before 9 p.m.
Rescue personnel transported both men Nebraska Medicine for treatment. They were taken with non-life threatening injuries, according to a release.
