Burglar steals $14,000 in tools from Lincoln construction site
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The Lincoln Police Department is searching for one or more individuals who stole thousands of dollars’ worth of tools from a construction site.
Officers were called to the site at 2101 Transformation Drive, located on the Nebraska Innovation Campus, at 8 a.m. Wednesday to investigate the theft.
The caller reported that someone had accessed a cargo container by prying off the padlock and removing tools with an estimated value of $14,000.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
